April Fools Day

Image
Hey! Ever join a lobby and have the map be totally backward? Here's why that happens and how you can do it! April Fool's Day If you are playing Among Us, and the map is suddenly upside-down or backward, this is because it's April Fools Day! Surprise, the developers actually put a custom feature into The Skeld (and only The Skeld) that makes the map all wonky, creating an epic April Fools Prank! If you happen to not be playing on April Fools Day, then this feature has been accessed by the host. How You Can Do It Here's how to do it!  1. Change the Date in Settings to April 1st (April Fools Day) 2. Open Among Us and host a lobby 3. Once the game starts, you'll be able to experience the new map on your own, any time you want!

The Metallic Green Character

Image
Have you ever been walking in one of the maps, and suddenly, a weird green color appears, walking around you? Here's what that is: A metallic green color can sometimes be seen walking around maps like The Skeld and Polus, not as much with Mira HQ. This color can only be accessed by developers, and sometimes hackers that can hack into Innersloth's system and get a hold of this color. Upon seeeing this character, no name can be attached to it so far, only a simple three question marks. To prove that this metallic green color is in fact not a color that can be accessed by people that are not developers, here's a side-by-side picture of Dark Green (which can be used by the normal player) and the unusual Green (one only used by developers): What do you think this Green color is doing here? In my opinion, I believe it is hackers and developers. Do you?

21 Tips For Impostors

21 Tips For Among Us Impostors  1. Your kill cooldown doesn't go down while you're in the vents 2.   It helps to know where vent go, so you know where to kill and what your next move will be 3. Only the Medbay Scan, Priming Shields, Shooting Asteroids, and Garbage Disposal are visual tasks, meaning you can see them 4. Admin Swipe and Insert Keys are common tasks, if one person has the task, everyone does, so don't fake them if other Crewmates aren't doing it  5. Instead of walking away from a task and having the chance that someone saw the taskbar not go up, do a task that normally takes a long time to do, like downloading or uploading, and wait for the taskbar to go up. Once it does, it's your cue to leave, looking like you did the task 6. Never say you saw someone if the lights are off because there's a chance they couldn't see you, since the lights don't go off on your screen. Always say "it was too dark, I couldn't see anyone" 7. Do s...

The Keyhole Task and How To Find The Impostor Using It

Image
The Keyhole Task in Polus is a Very Useful Task That Can Help You Find The Impostor! 1. It's A Common Task It's a common task, meaning that if one person has that task, everyone has it! So don't immediately go to that task if you are Impostor, because if the Crewmates have as many brain cells as you, they'll know! And if you see someone going to do that task, and you don't have it, go call that Emergency Meeting, quick! 2. The Voting Method Remember what keyhole you get! And use this task wisely, don't go assuming if you don't really know. Anyway, let's get to it. If you have the first  keyhole on the left , during the voting time, you will be the first name on the left . If you have the second keyhole on the left , you will be the first name on the right . Here's a diagram to make it easier:

How To Use Vitals and Security Cameras Effectively

Are you the kind of person that sits around watching vitals all round, or maybe you monitor the security cameras? Well, whatever the case, here are some ways to not be slouching around, but to be doing something effective! SECURITY CAMERAS If you're playing Among Us with your friend, find a way to coordinate it so that one person is watching security cameras while the other is standing on top of the camera! To stand on top of the cameras at the Southeast, Southwest, Northeast, Northwest, East, or West, simply walk over to them and position yourself so the red dot can't be seen! As most of you know, a red dot can be seen flashing on the cameras when somebody is using them. If you stand on top of them, the Impostor won't be able to see if somebody can see them killing you! And before that body falls, you'll be up and running to either report it or call an emergency meeting! VITALS Do you watch vitals for a little while, if not all round? Here's a tip to use them bet...

Polus History

Hello there! If you're like me, you want to get right to the point in this, so let's do just that! Do you play on the Polus map? Ever wonder why it's called Polus ? Well, here's why: in a previous game made by the developers of Among Us, a guy named Polus Petrovich  got a planet  named  after him after winning a sweepstakes!   Also, you might never notice it, but the TV on the wall of the Admin Room is actually a reference to the TV in The Office, where Pam claims to see the little drifting dot hit directly in the corner of the screen. In the yucky bathroom in the Medbay of Polus, a sliver of a white character can be seen behind the stall! Crazy, right? Well, that's all for this day (I'll be posting more tomorrow!!)
